Anyone who acquired a foreign company and on-shored its operations to the US?

I’m exploring how to build a manufacturing business in the U.S. via acquiring an existing factory in East Asia and gradually onshoring the operation to the US. I'm specifically interested in South Korea due to my background and ample supply of owner/operators retiring without successors. I'm preliminarily looking at electronics given my background in software and electrical engineering, but I'm willing to pivot to a different sector given S.Korea has fewer independent EMS/ODM compared to Taiwan. I'm looking to speak to someone who has relevant experience in operation and financing. Thanks!
