Curious to hear if anyone has used AI tools (especially tools other than LLMs) for due diligence on acquisitions. Have they added real value, or do you still rely mostly on traditional methods? Would love to hear about any specific platforms or insights!

While the chatbots can be helpful for one-off questions, I've been beta testing an AI tool built specifically for the diligence process. It's been great at finding "gotchas", coming up with potential follow up questions for brokers and sellers. It can also handle a large amount of unique documents / context within a single workspace and work with data, which I've found to not be the case with the chatbots.

If you are interested in beta testing, like this post (and I'll message you) or just simply DM me. Cheers.

For financial due diligence, I created a tool called Provafi that automates the first step in transforming raw financial data (from a trial balance) into analysis-ready financials. You can then export financials to then be fed into LLM / other AI models as desired for further diligence.

For a limited time - we are offering free beta access to the Searchfunder community at www.provafi.com

We are also exploring direct AI integration opportunities for future product releases. Happy to answer any questions you may have!
