Happy to chat with anyone pursuing the above. I'm currently working on a permanent capital HoldCo to acquire mission critical precision manufacturers in Southeast Asia. Obviously much larger scale, but some publicly listed Nordic examples for those who are interested in this area: AQ, Hanza, Note, SP

Very aligned with this thinking Jeff. At CoLaborator, Inc., we’re building around a similar thesis on the U.S. side; acquiring and PARTNERING with lower-middle market manufacturing businesses first, then using strategic aggregation, bolt-ons, and operator alignment to build long-term platform value rather than isolated transactions. The goal has always been platform + permanent value creation, not one-off deals. Interesting to see more people thinking in HoldCo terms instead of traditional ETA paths. @redacted‌ I am in very early stages of building my holdco (lento-capital.com). We are heavy manufacturing focused as well. We're probably a 1-2 years out before making our initial platform acquisition. However, I have met with investors and provided our investor memo/thesis and received decent feedback. Happy to share learnings so far. Shoot me a DM.
