Anyone have experience of dealing with UK EIS funds when fundraising? We're setting up several spinouts from our core IP focusing on knowledge infrastructure for AI; an Amazon intelligence service; a powerful online strategic Competition Insight service; Sectoral Knowledge infrastructure services for Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services, Physical Infrastructure and Built Environment. The CEO and COO would be able to invest themselves under the SEIS scheme, and then open up for EIS funds to invest before going looking for PE/VC for next round. Anyone else done this successfully?

Happy to help with my experience as the investor. Can also connect you with a COO of a UK startup who is going through SEIS and EIS set up before series A.

Yes, I know this space very well Luke. I have helped a number of start-ups through this and done a few successful applications on their behalf.
