Anyone in the Firearms and Gun industry?

I was forwarded a product meant as an added safety device for rifles and firearms. They have small use-cases with police municipalities that get insurance kickbacks if they install this device and are looking to get into DoD contracts/ranges/miltary/and retail. Does anyone have experience in this industry? Any networking opportunities would be much appreciated!
