I’m looking for feedbacks on the best way to migrate a CRM platform from one company to another without losing important contacts, notes, activities, or deal history. If you’ve been through a CRM transition during an acquisition or carve-out, I’d love to hear: - What tools or platforms you used for the migration -How you ensured clean data transfer (contacts, pipelines, emails, tasks, etc.) - Any pitfalls to avoid or best practices for minimizing disruption - Whether there are recommended automated solutions vs. manual exports/imports Appreciate any insights ..

It's a lot of work to migrate, especially if you're working with Salesforce or MS Dynamics. I have hired for enterprise migrations and DIY'ed it for my current business. It's not cheap, and there are always things that can't move over. I haven't used this, but have seen it referenced before if you're trying to find a software solution: https://www.import2.com/

Are you planning on doing it yourself or looking for a firm to help with that? I run a marketing agency and we have a couple of quality suppliers we bring in to do that sort of work, if that's what you are looking for. The answers you are looking for will vary based on the CRM you are working with.
