Just joined our community today. Grew up in Chicago (U of I grad) and moved to Korea 15 years ago when Cat purchased a $30M metal face seal manufacturer in Korea. First came as CFO, then President, then Global Product Mgr. Along the way, found so many incredible manufacturing companies with technical moats but children don't want to run them, and barely any speak English so their customer base is almost entirely Korean. Cut my teeth at Cat learning LEAN manufacturing and operational excellence, so left a year ago to start investment company to purchase these SME's in Korea to grow them globally (as I did with Cat Seals Korea). Does any have experience raising funds in the US for international acquisition? I know it's a tall order, but looking to connect.
