Does anyone here any experience investing within larger individual franchisees ($15mm+) and providing them with growth /equity capital instead of taking a control acquisition?

Franchisee is not included in our investment mandate for now. I personally had experience buying franchised contracts and will not recommend it to anyone. Buying franchised entities is different, only if you are doing a whole bunch of them and not 1-5, then it is a losing game.
