Anyone experience with Mezzanine Capital in Germany/Europe

I am currently in talks with an owner and instead of a classic SF and take over of the business he suggested to cooperate. I actually like the idea very much, but still some funding would be required. It's not a huge amount probably 0.5m EUR and for not a long time I'd say 12 to 24m. So I was wondering if anyone had experience with raising such an amount for a short time? Happy to pay high interest, that would notbe the problem. Best, Ali
