Any suggestions on where to start validation of a foreign potential buyer? I am sure it may be country-specific, but I am searching for a quick starting point to see if spending time on entertaining various solicitations from overseas buyers is worthwhile.

You could try a lawyer on that country to do start with the basics. Out of curiousity, where is that?
