A local and well respected angel syndicate that historically focuses on early-stage venture deals has invited my Search Fund to present to their ~40 accredited investor members.
Any searchers have experience pitching / accepting investment from an angel syndicate? If so, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
As further color. If individual angel investors are interested they would pool their funds into an entity that would then write one-check to the search fund to buy ~1+ units ($50K/per unit). A major pro for us is the ability to quickly reach a lot of local investors who as individuals would not likely participate. The con is that some of the "Accredited" investors in the group are not accredited by the traditional wealth definition. Additionally, we potentially expand how many investors we would have from ~5-10 to ~15-20+.
Advice warmly welcomed!
