Any recommendation for German based M&A brokers?
"Bad" brokers do exist and can do lot of damage so I prefer to go by referrals. Any recommendations for low/mid for market € 5-15m EV operating in Germany?
^redacted Off-market deals are a goldmine in less crowded marketplaces like Europe if you got the right system in place to find the opportunities.

So far my focus has been proprietary/off market search. The experience has been that whilst there is some assumed benefit from that strategy (e.g. no competitive bidding) I had to cover a lot of ground that normally an M&A advisors would do such as explaining the process, various contractual structures, content of DD etc. which takes time and energy i.e the pace is slower driven by this "readiness & deal competence" bottleneck on the seller side. Hence I am exploring complementing the strategy with an intermediated search
