We are both getting internships at operational roles while we start the initial capital raising. Came from strong equity research, financial services and sales background. What would investors ask to us?

Overall I would say that pure operational experience is a bit overrated. If you know how to work with teams and can be a consistent leader, a lot of the operational stuff will figure itself out. Especially if you are humble enough to take outside advice (consultants or board members). Having sales talent on board is a great asset as it is the basis of any business.

It's going to be a lot of common sense and leadership attributes. Lead by example, get to know what the motivations are of your people. Be firm but fair. It' s not rocket science and can be found in most management books.
