Congratulations on starting your search. That is a broad range of opportunities you are looking at.

Just as a point of reference, if you are looking for small community banks, are you aware of the regulatory requirements for entering the banking world? If you are serious about pursuing Banks you probably need to hire someone to be sure you are required to meet the regulatory requirements. I have a partner that has done probably more bank start-ups then just about anyone else in the country and has also done a lot of bank acquisitions over the years, and he knows the regulatory environment very well if you need assistance from that end.
