I'm excited to share the launch of Fawn Lake Partners, a self-funded search lead by myself and my partner, Aaron Green!
We plan to acquire a personal lines focused independent insurance agency in the greater Boston or Chicago areas, which we we'll work to grow organically and inorganically to access the higher multiples that exist upmarket, ultimately generating a substantial return through multiple arbitrage. The higher multiples in this industry look a bit different than traditional search fund economics, but we believe our backgrounds make us uniquely qualified to succeed in this space. I'm an insurance industry veteran, having spent a decade at Liberty Mutual as a credentialed actuary and data scientist. I have extensive experience as a leader of large teams focused on financial analysis, building rating algorithms, and helping organizations make data-driven strategic decisions.
Aaron comes from a background in management consulting at Accenture where he worked with dozens of clients across a variety of industries, partnering with organizations to implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability. His project experience includes operating model strategy, E2E supply chain, M&A and ERP Integration, cost optimization, and process re-design.
Over the next few weeks, we hope to build ongoing relationships with investors and a deal team who we will offer a "right of first refusal" to work with us over the course of our acquisition.
