Analyst position fulfilled. Feedback to applicants

ULS has closed this position and in the process of finalizing the intake in next 2 weeks. While all of you applied with great intent, below are my feedback:

1. Read a job post before applying (do not assume all jobs are for everyone. there are some matured companies that tailors job posts)
2. Tailor your Resume before applying (doing otherwise is as good as being rejected)
3. If you use a personal email to apply ensure you check emails or it sends a red flag to employers (us)
4. If you use an university email ensure you do not use it because domains block external emails from being received
5. If you are disqualified to do the job be upfront and honest than saying "something came up and I can no longer commit to this job". Truth is you failed to complete the recruitment process so you are coming up with excuses because every university applicants are MUST requiring internship experience you just thought you will get an easy internship without having to do quality work.
6. Put your mouth where the money is. If you are in university apply to searchfunds and not private equities. You are not there yet.
