An Analyst intern should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the process by which middle market companies are bought and sold. Analysts will also gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in middle market transactions and the motivating factors driving their behavior. Duties and Responsibilities: • Research and identify attractive industries based on Infinitive’s investment criteria • Manage / build databases for companies and manage Infinitive’s CRM • Understand individual companies, develop investment theses, and development an understanding of business models. build financial models • Production of emails/letters for targeted small businesses • Review of confidential information on potential acquisitions and build financial models Benefits: • Significant mentorship from Infinitive’s team, including career advice and mentorship in future business school applications • Thorough education on the full life-cycle of private equity transactions • Collaborative work environment with other motivated and fun loving peers • Participation in phone calls with investment bankers and small business owners Who we look for: • Highly motivated candidates who have a strong and proven interest in the fields of private equity, entrepreneurship and finance • An interest in education and/or human capital is not required but would be nice to have • Candidates who have a nature curiosity for how businesses work, a tenacious attitude towards research, are resourceful and have the ability to think independently • Strong oral and written English communication skills • Individuals able to work autonomously to complete projects • High-integrity individuals
