BRIDGING THE VALUATION GAP IN M&A

Today, valuing companies offered for sale can be difficult, as their performance is less stable and predictable. Not surprisingly, deferred and contingent payments have surged. The September 28 Wall Street Journal cited one estimate that 50% of recent transactions had earnouts, double pre-pandemic levels.
