Alternatives to SBA Loans

Hello fellow searchers,

Anyone have experience working with "Loan Consultants" or "Loan Advisors" who can help navigate and assess financing options outside of SBA?

I know up market there are often M&A Advisors or I-Bankers. This would be evaluating businesses in the $1M to $5 M Rev range.

Seem to be a ton of SBA-specialized advisors for searchers, curious what else may be out there.

Ben, what transaction size are you looking at? Not to steer the conversation off course, but a quick note on SBA advisors – I’d be cautious with those who self-proclaim expertise. I’d recommend ensuring they’ve actually been involved in SBA lending, as I’ve come across quite a few who haven’t.

Let me know if you find any solid sources. We've been looking for reasonable solutions beyond SBA. I know that Boopos.com is not financing any more deals.
