All in on Florida

I’ve really enjoyed being part of the Searchfunder community and learning from the conversations here. For a while, I’ve been around the ETA space commenting on posts, attending events, and occasionally advising searchers in industries I know well. But a couple of months ago, I decided to jump in full-time. I recently started T. Harrington Ventures to partner with small businesses here in Florida. My path has included years in M&A as an investment banker and time in the private equity and private credit markets. Most recently, I was on the sell-side working with founder-led businesses, which gave me great exposure to the transaction process. Over time, I realized what I really wanted was to get back to working directly with operators and investing alongside them to build long-term value. Now, I’m focused on generating deal flow, underwriting opportunities, and finalizing capital commitments from partners to be able to pursue larger transactions. My primary focus is Florida, not only because of the strong macro tailwinds here, but also because it’s where I grew up, built my network, and now raise my family.
