Thinkchain.ai: AI with Document Deepdive and Chain of Thought for Searchfunders

What is Document Deepdive?
ThinkChain.AI is able to read and interpret a huge range of documents and use them in AI analysis, without sacrificing privacy. You can add a Google Drive with PDF files in it and use the AI to find answers to complex questions. We even OCR the PDFs for you. The documents are never trained on and can be deleted by you at any time.

What is Chain of Thought?
Chain of Thought is a new AI toolkit which can take a complicated question and split it into sections. Each part can then be answered independently with each answer then pulled together for a final response. This response is fully sourced in relation to key source materials including PDFs, word documents, google docs and slides etc. You can even use YouTube videos as sources and the AI will provide the exact timestamp that it used to answer the question.

Don't AI's make stuff up?
Yes they sure do at times. However, they can also be required to provide sourcing for their answers, showing the exact paragraph they used. They can also be made more accurate, which we work on everyday. Think of it as an analyst that never sleeps that has already read everything you need to review. But you still have to confirm their work sometimes.

Do you use OpenAI, don't they train on the data?
We use lots of models including OpenAI. We use the OpenAI API which means that their retention policy of 30 days with no training on submitted data applies. However, when we ingest new documents we use internal models which means the vast majority of information is never sent to any third parties. Happy to share more information on request.

Why Search Funds?
We love search funds. We've met with dozens of searchers from all over the world. From my time studying Entrepreneurial Acquisition at Stanford, through my time as a tech founder I have always been engaged with the search community. We also know how hard it is to run a diligence process on limited resources with huge numbers of paper or PDF documents from traditional businesses. Some companies are just impossible to require because of the DD costs. We can help! We work with PE too but you guys and girls are more fun.

What is next?
We're onboarding 5 new clients at the moment based on people with interesting problems to solve where we can help. For this period the platform is free, we just ask for feedback so the next users have the best experience they can get.
