I just returned from AWS Re:Invent and one thing that is crystal clear is that detailed domain specific data will be an incredibly important asset for every industry. If success or failure can be described by an exact mathematical formula, then an AI system can learn on it's own. Most small business problems don't fit neatly into that category. When you are making decisions about your business, what data are you looking at? Is that data being recorded for later analysis? My suggestion would be to ensure you are recording as many details as possible in every aspect of your business. AI does not work without data. The more you collect now, the better off you will be when you want to look into how AI can be used to effectively add value to your business. Blue Origin is not exactly a small business, but I think this talk from Re:Invent is one of the best in driving home how valuable AI can be in any business. https://youtu.be/RDeaTJ2B018?si=DotPH5cyxXPCOTgz
