The current AI demonstrations we see from OpenAI, Google and others are around text or image prediction (basically these are extremely large prediction machines - much larger than our mind can comprehend). There probably is research around other type of big data processing, but this so expensive that only companies running R&D budgets of hundreds of millions can consider.
When evaluating a software that has been on the market for 5 to 10 year already, which I assume is the case for you, the most AI they can use is some basic integration with the APIs from the main providers. Chances for them to own internal AI developed solutions are close to zero. Instead focus on the fundamentals:
- customer retention, growth opportunities
- employee retention is very important in tech business, otherwise you might end up with a large infrastructure and a lot of technical debt to service
- of course the other classic balance sheet, debt, previous investment rounds, ...
