Dear all, quick question for the group: how many of you are actually using AI tools in your investment process today? I am curious where AI is really adding value along the E2E process vs just sounding good in theory, i.e.: - sourcing/scouting - target screening and prioritization - financial analysis, data cleaning, CIM review - BP drafting/reviewing/sanity checking - improve decision quality - DD support - NBO, LOI, BO, SPA, SHA, other transaction docs drafting support I am expecially interested in hearing from Italian or EU-based searchers. Happy to discuss! [Disclaimer: I am not selling anything, just trying to understand real adoption and practical use cases]

Im actually working through this now. I think that you could use it for deal reviews/CIMs if you ground the AI in the right processes. I.e. for Gemini you can create a Gem thats grounded in anything related to the process youre doing. What I dont think we're quite at yet, is a full agent that can run through key aspects of search (i.e. going from leads list to email to booking a call) - but were not far from it (it can technically be done today with enough focus on it). Im just getting into being serious about search and will continue to leverage it throughout. Trust but verify - these models are getting REALLY good

Currently scouting/screening using self built agents/skills with claude opus model. Haven't done any specific financial analysis, but have been using claude to research and learn as well. Everything you list is practical...I don't see many doing this in practice...yet. I'm building it as I go.
