AI and our Company Security with connecting Google Drive Docs and Files

I want to connect our Google Drive top Claude so that I can save all my files in our shared drives in Google Drive and access them on demand without having to (take a screenshot or save the file to my computer drive before uploading to Claude. It feels like a couple steps can be avoided with access to the docs and files right in Claude from Google Drive. My wife (head of the account - office manager of the company) does not want to connect Google Drive to our paid Claude Teams subscription due to AI having access to our information. Can anyone weigh in whether this is really a security issue? If we are paying for the subscription, shouldn't our information be private? How does it work so that we can move forward intelligently and not so blindly. Thank you!
