Advisory Boards?

Hi,

Has anyone put together an advisory board (i.e. people with industry experience)? If so, would love to know how you went about structuring compensation (either as cash, equity or a combination). Feel free to shoot me a PM or respond below.

investor from Columbia University - Columbia Business School

I'm on a couple of friends' advisory boards. Comp is very modest and all equity, in my case. I'm happy to do it because I like the people and the companies. As noted above, it's usually for a 2-3 year period.
