Earned Equity is in the process of acquiring a residential and commercial fencing company in Florida. We're using our Operate-to-Own model — we buy the business, install an experienced operator who runs it day-to-day, and that operator earns majority ownership over time through performance and cash flow. We build a 3-person board around every company: the operator, an EE principal, and an Industry Advisor. We're looking for that third seat. **What you'd actually do:** - Sit on the board and weigh in on major decisions: annual budgets, capex, operator comp, strategic direction - Review the deal before we close — you'll have eyes on the financials, the operation, and the operator before we pull the trigger - Interview operator finalists — we want your read on whether they can actually run a fence operation - Check in on the business monthly and act as a coach to the operator on the ground: ~10 hrs/month, quick reporting back to EE on what's working and what's not - If you know owners in the industry who may be open to a conversation, we're always interested in additional proprietary pipeline **Who we want:** - Ran or currently runs a fencing company (residential, commercial, or both) — ideally in Florida - Has hired, managed, and grown a field operations team - Understands the full P&L: materials, labor, crews, seasonality, customer mix - Connected in the industry — knows who the good operators are **Compensation:** - Profit interest in the company - Right to co-invest on the same terms as Earned Equity - No guaranteed salary — aligned incentives only We're at a critical stage in diligence and want the right advisor locked in before close.
