I'm sure it's been done before, but does anyone have experience using their GI Bill to get a professional/executive MBA on nights and weekends while searching full time during the day? It's a path I'm considering so looking for advice on those who have done it. Roadblocks, pitfalls, etc. Feel free to DM me. Appreciate this community and all the knowledge everyone shares.

Hey Adam, GI Bill is such a great benefit! I don't see why you couldn't do this. One major downfall is that you may need to exit the MBA program before you finish if you find an acquisition, so you would need to be OK with that. My experience with fulltime MBA is that 80% of the academic benefit of MBA (for someone without a business background) is in the first or second semester. An alternative approach is going the full time route and focusing your search during the summer internship and second year. Its great that you know that you want to pursue ETA before you begin your MBA. The first time I had even heard of ETA was during my last semester of MBA.

Adam- happy to chat 1 on 1. I don't know anyone who did this directly but I don't foresee too many unique challenges. Likely the personal finance situation is the biggest variable here.
