What advice would you give someone planning to enter business school in the next two years? Interested what I can do now to  increase my knowledge or gain useful experience with the potential aim of someday launching a search fund.

Thanks!

It'd be useful to have a bit more information about your background. You should try to boost your weak spots. For example, if you've spent your entire career in quantitative finance, you might want to work on developing your soft skills (assuming that you've neglected soft skills!).

But in general, just try to read and learn. Obviously, read the search fund specific literature. There's not much of it, but the little bit that's out there is worthwhile. Develop your business skills. You want to be learning for the rest of your life, but if you have the time now before business school, learn from others' mistakes so you don't have to undergo the painful experience of learning from your own.
