Adding a 6th session to the Summer ETA Webinar Series: Quality of Earnings

Quick update on the webinar series. I'm adding a 6th session and it's one I've wanted to put on for a while. Wednesday, June 17 at 12 PM ET we'll focus on Quality of Earnings with Mike Jerman of Hollywell Partners. A bit of context on why this session is important: QofE is the diligence step where first-time searchers are most exposed. The "QofE Lite" market has expanded a lot in the past few year. Prices have been coming down, which is great for accessibility, but the trade-off is that the cheaper providers often can't take the time to ask the questions that surface hidden current assets and liabilities. I mentioned this briefly at Bruce's session yesterday and a few of you reached out asking for more. Mike is Managing Partner at Hollywell Partners, a longstanding member of our Deal Team, and a recurring speaker at SMBootcamp. He was CFO of multiple PE-backed companies across energy, SaaS, and manufacturing, led global PwC client engagements ranging from $200M to $40B in revenue, registered CPA in Florida, and holds his MBA from the University of Oxford. The reason I want this in front of the broader searcher community is that he brings a level of rigor to QofE that's becoming harder to find as the market commoditizes. We'll walk through how to read a QofE report, what questions to ask before commissioning one, and what a high-quality engagement actually looks like in practice.
