Hi all, am a little curious about your experience from successful acquisitions - approaches used to determine the price and how it fared with respect to the target valuation.

All buyers should run a full set of pro-forma financials. That would include your forecast, financing, structure (financing, organization and transaction), etc. You should then do sensitivity. Good to know if the target has expected value. You know it will always be high. If target has retained an intermediary and has paid retainer, chances are expectation will be reasonable. I see you are UofC grad. Same here. Call if I can help###-###-#### .

No, I do not. Executives I teach are part of the CM&AA program which is a 5 day M&A bootcamp taught few times a year at different universities.
