Have recently closed a business acquisition financing with full relationship banking for a high-end consumer product manufacturer with a conventional commercial loan structure. Loan size was higher than the SBA max. Loan term and amortization were shorter and equity was higher than normal SBA structure, but the interest rate was lower. There are gives and takes. It works great for some transactions and business owners.
