I am currently pursuing the acquisition of a long-established, highly reputable specialty building products and installation company based in Northern New Jersey and am looking to connect with a potential operating partner interested in helping lead and scale the business long term.

Strong regional reputation
~$1.7M–$3M historical revenue
~$300K+ normalized SDE
High-end residential + contractor customer base
Established showroom, installation operations, vendor relationships, and repeat referral business
Seller willing to support transition and remain involved post-close
Meaningful opportunity for operational optimization and growth
What I’m looking for:
An operationally-focused leader interested in becoming a true owner/operator over time — someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves and leading day-to-day operations while helping scale the business into a larger regional platform.

Branch or operations management
Contractor-facing environments
This is NOT a passive GM role. The right person would ideally:
Lead daily operations
Manage employees/install coordination/vendor relationships
Help professionalize systems/processes
Drive accountability and execution
Participate economically through salary + performance incentives + long-term equity participation
I would primarily focus on:
acquisition/financing strategy
growth initiatives
strategic partnerships
systems/processes
future tuck-in acquisitions and expansion
