If you are buying a construction or real estate based business and you do not come from the field side, there are usually gaps in how the deal is being evaluated.
I work with buyers during acquisition to help close that gap from an operations and execution perspective.
Through Thomas McGee Development, I support diligence on construction and service based businesses, including reviewing crews, subcontractors, vendor relationships, cost structure, and overall operational health. I also help identify deferred maintenance exposure, realistic capital needs, and what it will actually take to operate the business after close.
A lot of deals look solid on paper but break down in execution. That is where most of the real risk lives.
I approach this as a builder and operator, not just a consultant, which tends to surface both risk and upside that are not obvious in financials.
If you are actively looking at a deal or under LOI and want a second set of eyes on the construction and operations side, I am available.
