Acquiring parking lots and facilities

Has anyone evaluated acquiring parking lots and facilities? I know some PE funds do this, and there was a startup that raised a lot to do acquisitions but wondered if any Search Funders are looking at the space or have been active in it.

I have not see searchers active in this space before. I think the biggest challenge is parking lots are typically viewed more like real estate investments versus businesses. Often times real estate lending on parking lots is not as aggressive as some forms of business lending. They can also be capital intensive and real estate taxes and local parking taxes can by high and another variable outside of your control. Happy to discuss the differences if you would like.
