Anyone have experience evaluating and acquiring a bookkeeping/accounting practice? Would love to connect and share notes. Due diligence best practice, revenue mix considerations, geographic concerns, client mix/client list due diligence, seller considerations (seller note, retaining seller as employee, etc), and related items. Particularly interested in chatting through growth strategies.

One thing to consider when purchasing a bookkeeping company/accounting is are there any non-solicits with the underlying employees. Since they are the ones that have the primary relationships I have seen them leave and take customers with them if there isn't anything in place.
