I’m stress-testing opportunities across three dimensions before going deep:
1. Operational leverage – Can systems, automation, or process changes move the needle quickly?
2. Human risk – How much value lives in one person’s head?
3. Decision latency – How fast can the business react to change?
I’m less worried about perfect historical numbers and more focused on whether the next 12–24 months can be materially improved by better execution.
