A new way to pressure‑test your EtA story

In my latest newsletter, I shared something I’ve been working on: a structured way for searchers to see how their EtA story is actually landing before they’re in the room with investors, lenders, or sellers. It’s aimed at a problem I’ve watched for a decade: smart, thoughtful searchers doing a lot of the “right” things and still walking away from important conversations with that feeling that something didn’t quite land—but no clear language for what to change. The new ETA PitchRef evaluation system is: * designed specifically for acquisition entrepreneurs, * now built into the EtA Launch Hub for the upcoming cohort, and * available for partner pilots with aligned investors, lenders, accelerators, and universities who want a more consistent, data‑informed way to evaluate entrepreneurs’ narratives. In the newsletter (and a companion LinkedIn post), I talk about why I built it and why I’m especially hopeful about what it can mean for under‑represented searchers—Black, Indigenous and other people of color, women, veterans, and those from more modest financial backgrounds.
