Looking for a simple post acquisition playbook. Has anyone come across a generic playbook which encompasses the steps owners need to take after acquiring a small business? Things that come to mind are - making an announcement via social media and internally to employees, creating communication guidelines, setting up new accounts with vendors etc.

Be sure to confer with your lawyer and accountant about the kinds of issues they've seen go wrong for the kind and size of company you're going to acquire.. That kind of specificity is way more valuable than checklists that try to cover the kitchen sink of possibilities.
