$2M Trapped Equity - Need help extracting

Hi community, for the last 2 years I've been working various angles to use equity across my real estate portfolio as collateral toward the down on a biz acquisition. The equity is there, but the method of extraction has been challenging. It is spread between 4 multifamily buildings in Los Angeles. 3 of the buildings are next door to each other. I own 100%. I don't want any equity loans (love HELOCs), no refinancing, and exploring selling but the tax hit will be $400k-$900k... Any folks out there having a similar issue?
