The 2020 HBS ETA Conference is coming up in just a couple of weeks (December 6th) - please see below for more information and hope to see you there!

We’re also excited to announce that there will be four "Resource Chat" sessions led by various service providers on Saturday, December 5th from 4-6pm ET. Topics include deal structuring, lender communications, tax considerations for buyers/sellers, and current market legal/contract terms.

The Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Club at Harvard Business School will be holding its 6th annual conference on Sunday, December 6th, 2020. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held in a remote setting.

The one-day event will bring together students, searchers, CEOs, owners, investors, and service providers from across the world for a day of keynote speeches, panels, and networking sessions. Experienced moderators and panelists will be discussing a wide array of topics including tactical sourcing deep dives, value creation strategies, challenges of being a first time CEO, and more. The conference will paint a vivid picture of how searches work—from the perspectives of investors, CEOs, and searchers. A detailed agenda will be provided at a later date on the ETA Club website at the link below.

Hi ^redacted‌, thank you for this great initiative, it is a lot of work!
Do you plan doing anything to facilitate networking besides the forum? I recently joined a fully virtual conference done via "hopin" platform that offered virtual speed dating.
Happy to take a look for you if you want, I'm currently fundraising, so it is in my best interest :)

I saw the agenda but unclear on how the panels are run. Are all 3 topics covered at the same time and you have to choose one of three options? If so, then you should really reconsider recording these. There are many sessions that I would like to attend but they are at the same time slot. The recording cost should be minimal if the conference is already 100% virtual. Thanks!
