… It took months to feel safe again.

The AirBnB host violated my privacy:

  1. Monday: Opened the door while I was partially dressed
  2. Everyday: Came into the space while I was at work
  3. Tuesday: Tried to get me to communicate with her off the app
  4. Wednesday: I packed up what I could before my arm in the sling couldn't take any more. At 10:23 pm, she was at the door yelling “Yvette, Yvette…” asking me to stay longer
  5. Thursday: Admitted she had come into the space everyday while I was working because “it's [her] house”

When you plan for a deal, don't forget to plan for your self-care.

But the one for myself had big holes.

During the workday, I was having a successful transition, but after work, . . . it was murder.

If you buy a business out of state, spend time thinking about:

Don’t underestimate the importance of taking care of yourself.

What unexpected hurdles have you overcome for your business?
