Do you prefer a dedicated CRM like HubSpot or Zoho, or stick with trusty Excel for simplicity?

I am considering using Zoho to track my deal flow.

What tools do you use?

I used google sheets for a while (template available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16wS3XeYCh2odpLWQphFeh0V4eWuRyM_RK4kqp6dblKA/edit?usp=sharing) but recently switched to https://attio.com/ because I'm cheap and they are one of the only CRMs with a reliable free option. I like using the CRM better because it's convenient to centralize notes and contact history around each deal.

Hubspot (free) and Pipedrive (paid) are two of the top recommendations among searchers on here. Then layer an email outreach program on top via integration (and send via own domain). But if spreadsheets work best for you personally, go for that. People get too hung up on making the choice when it's more about sheer volume of work (not specific CRM). None of these options have the silver bullet
