Hi all. I'm ~4 weeks out from closing on a 30 employee outdoor services business and will need to rebuild the HR function from the ground up. Employee handbook, compliance, onboarding, HRIS etc. I'm looking at different 3rd party options. Has anyone had experience with Bambee? Any other providers (companies or individuals) you'd recommend?

PEOs or fractional HR consultants are likely your best option. You should first determine which functions / tasks you need to have on-site or in person if any. The scope, pricing and expertise of HR firms can vary significantly. If you are in a state that has a greater regulatory burden than others, such as CA, it will be important to use a firm either based in that region or very familiar with that state's specific laws. I can't vouch for them one way or another as I have not personally used them but I have had positive dealings in the past with the folks at Lever 1 (https://lever1.com/). They offer all HR solutions, you may want to check them out.
